An SAP SuccessFactors onboarding certification is designed to test the knowledge of an individual in the SAP SuccessFactors modules and it is for SAP SuccessFactors HR professionals and consultants.
The onboarding certification consists of two levels.
Level 1: This level is designed for new HR professionals who are straight from college and need to learn the basics of HR administration in a company.
Level 2: This is designed for experienced professionals in SAP SuccessFactors.
To get an SAP SuccessFactors onboarding certification, you must meet some eligibility criteria. You should be a Human Resources professional with at least 3 years of experience in this field.
Then, you should have at least 3 years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors HR modules, such as:
- Learning Management
- And more.
Further, you should have demonstrated expertise in at least one area of the HR module. Such as Workforce Planning or Recruitment or Employee Records Management or Learning Management etc.
How to Prepare for the Certification Exam?
There are three ways to prepare for the certification exam. The first way is to take the training from an authorized training provider (ATP) on specific SAP modules. You can also read books and articles from well-known authors on SAP modules. Such as Dale Mcleod on Recruitment and Onboarding or Peter Blackmore on Employee Records Management.
Then, the third way is to attend webinars on specific topics related to module training sessions that are available on the SAP SuccessFactors website.
How much does it cost? The cost of an exam is $100 per module you want to take the test in. These costs are non-refundable and must be paid by you before you schedule an exam.
Then, if you want to schedule multiple exams, you need to pay separately for each module.
What happens after passing the test? After passing the test successfully, your name will be sent to SAP’s Certification Register and you will receive an official certificate from them upon successful registration with them.
This certificate proves that you are certified in that specific module and it will have your name, title, and contact details printed on it. Along with a unique ID that can be used by your clients as a reference point for future transactions with them.
How long does it last? Your certification lasts forever unless your contact information changes. Or if you fail a recertification exam after four years.
How and when can you recertify? To recertify, you have to pass a recertification exam within the period mentioned in the table below.
