How to Create Reconciliation Account in SAP

This financial management software is usually used by many business owners to control their own businesses. The SAP reconciliation account is actually a general ledger account that can be used to receive postings from some subsidiary ledgers. A ledger is an accounting form that can enable all bookkeepers to record all transactions easily. You can use this system by posting debits and credits in your financial accounts. Here are some useful tips that you can follow to create this account in SAP.

1. First, you should go to the menu path on the SAP. There are some options that are available in this menu path. You can click “Centrally” option in this path. In order to get access to this option, you should click several folders, including Accounting, General Ledger, Master Records, G/L Accounts, and Individual Processing.

2. After you enter the window box, you should create your G/L account. It is important for you to name this G/L account. You can also give company code for identifying your ledger. You can decide your company code based on your business needs. When you are satisfied with the options, you can click the “Create” button that is located on the right side of this window box.

3. You also need to choose the account group inside the new window box. It is recommended that you choose the best group based on your needs. Don’t forget to check the type of account that you are going to create. There are two main types of accounts that are available, Balance Sheet account or P&L account. You can also provide text for your G/L account. This short text is important to classify your accounts easily.

4. Then, you need to choose the account currency that is applicable to your business needs. This account currency is very important for managing your financial systems. You also need to choose the type of your reconciliation account. There are four main types of reconciliation account, including Vendor, Customer, Assets, and some other accounts.

5. At the end, you have to check all important details about your new reconciliation account. You can get all information about your company code and some other important details about your account. These details can be checked on the last tab. After you are satisfied with your account, you can click the “Save” button. It allows you to create new reconciliation account easily.

They are some useful tips that you can use to create your reconciliation account properly. This account is very useful for your financial reporting and accounting procedure. This application allows you to prepare accurate financial data sets in real time. There are some important data sets that you can install in this application, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and some other important details for your financial management system.
